Just spent 2 nights with friends and had a fabulous time. The property is kept in pristine condition and the staff are incredibly friendly and clearly proud of their workplace. Sites vary throughout the campground — we stayed in one of the ones overlooking the pond and it was perfect for our 26’ trailer with truck. We are already planning our return. Many thanks!

This was a treat of a campground. We had no idea such a wonderful campsite existed near Courtenay/Comox!! Huge campground, beautiful sites, pond, trails, showers and such friendly staff! Will definitely come back!

Nice grounds and very well taking care of. There is a Pond and campsites around. There are Pull thru sites and all amenities. Nice club house. Clean bathrooms. Nice clean showers. Quiet place . Wooden sculptures on site. Friendly staff.

Overall Experience
This is one of the nicer campgrounds I have visited on the Island. Set in a beautiful, peaceful location just a short drive outside of Comox, it features great privacy between sites and detailed wooden carvings throughout the grounds that add a charming touch.
Site Booking & Check-In
Site Changes: My only negative experience here relates to the booking process. When we checked in, I was moved to a neighbouring site rather than the specific one I had originally reserved. I was informed at check-in that management reserves the right to change sites. It worked out fine in our case since both were pull-through sites, but it is worth noting if you are aiming for a specific spot, as you run the risk of being reassigned.
Atmosphere & Amenities
The Clubhouse: Absolutely amazing. Built entirely of wood, it sits right beside the pond for an unbeatable view. Inside, there is plenty of seating, a radio, and activities like foosball, darts, and puzzles.
Crowd & Vibe: Very quiet and peaceful. While there are some kids around, the campground leans toward an older generation, likely because there is no playground or dedicated swimming hole. However, my teenagers still had a great time!
Facilities: The bathrooms are spotless and very well kept. Zero complaints there.
Activities: There is a horseshoe pit, though no horseshoes were left out (they may require a rental fee).
Water & Surrounding Area
On-Site Pond: Beautiful to look at from the clubhouse, but it has a steep drop-off and is not recommended for young children to play near.
Nearby Beach: A nice beach is located just a 15-minute drive down the road.

The best and most pleasant Campground we stayed at on Vancouver Island so far. The personell is friendly and accomodating. The facilities, washrooms and showers are great and always clean. And there is a very pretty and spacious lounge.
